See who won big and what this means when it comes to the BAFTAS and Oscars coming up next!

The biggest surprise of the night was Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, picked up by Black Panther, the film just became the first superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards and from this win it looks as though the film has a large chance in taking home the biggest prize of the night at next months award ceremony. Bohemian Rhapsody previously one the same award at the Golden Globes and Green Book picked it up at the Producers Guild Awards.

Rami Malek and Glenn Close once again both won for their roles in Bohemian Rhapsody and The Wife respectively. Mahershala Ali also won again for Green Book. A Star Is Born, although nominated in 4 categories failed to win any of them.

In the TV categories the winners included, Jason Bateman, Sandra Oh, Darren Criss and Patricia Arquette. This is Us and The Marvellous Mrs Maisel won in Outstanding performance by a cast in a drama series/comedy series.

The SAG Awards have well and truly opened up the race for the the Oscar contenders, with 3 films all head to head and multiple other films that are favourites for the big awards for the night, only time will tell who takes home that well sought after Best Picture Award next month.
